Terms of Service

Effective Date: 20th August 2025

Operator: Molecular Holdings Limited, trading as Decent Land Labs, United Kingdom ("we," "us," "our").
Service: share.ao ("the Service").

1. What share.ao is

share.ao is a file-sharing service. Free users can send up to 3GB per transfer (a batch of files), which expire after up to 7 days. Premium users can send larger files without a set limit, and choose expiry up to 30 days

2. Fair use

We don't impose hard limits on premium transfers. But:

The Service is designed for normal personal and business file-sharing.

Use that causes harm to the Service (e.g. denial-of-service, spamming, running a CDN off your account) is not fair use.

If your usage is so extreme that it affects other people's ability to use share.ao, we may slow down or restrict your account.

Put simply: you can share freely, but don't break the system for everyone else.

3. Accounts & access

Free tier: no account required.

Premium tier: you need an account and payment.

You are responsible for keeping your login secure.

4. Privacy

Files you upload are private unless you share the link. Links are long and hard to guess, but anyone with the link can access the file(s). We don't guarantee absolute secrecy, so share responsibly.

5. Prohibited uses

Don't use share.ao to:

  • Attack or disrupt the Service (DDoS or similar).
  • Break the law (including copyright infringement, malware, fraud, or harassment).
  • Host or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

6. Availability

We try to keep share.ao up at all times, but can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may suspend or change the Service at any time.

7. Liability

We provide the Service "as is." We're not liable for:

  • Loss of files or data,
  • Downtime or service interruptions,
  • Damages arising from use or misuse of the Service.

Some places don't allow full disclaimers, so your local rights may still apply.

8. Termination

We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or abuse the Service. You can stop using share.ao at any time.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes will be handled in UK courts.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make major changes, we'll notify premium users by email and post an update on the site.
